My story: After graduating from Portland State University’s graphic design program, I worked as a magazine production artist and designer for Oregon Magazine, Oregon Business Magazine, and Japanese Travel Magazines. After having children, I needed more flexibility in my life and decided to form my own business, working as a freelance creative design professional. Because I have a fine arts background, also, I am highly suited to clients who are creative and look to someone to assist in the best choice for their creative project solutions.
Skills: I design and produce Digital and print graphics which include, websites (WordPress), e-marketing (Mailchimp), gif animations, podcast art, newspapers, magazines, logos and briefs for organizations and businesses.
Clients include: MediAmerica publishing company, Island Daydream Shave Ice, Huckleberry Inn, Northwest Ski Club Council, Northwest Wools, National Association of the 6th Infantry Division, Inc., Southwest Portland Post newspaper, Tapestry Theatre, Lisa Fisher LLC, Robert Evans Construction and more…
Volunteer work: I am proud of my community work through the local schools and the Crestwood Neighborhood Association. As a board member of the Wilson High School PTA, donating my design time became a priority for me. I also voluntarily assist the neighborhood association with graphic design and update the web pages as needed.
As a sideline, I produce fine art cards printed on card stock and artwork printed on either wood or nice paper. I will soon have pieces in the portfolio section showing this work. If you are interested in purchasing items, you can email me with information about shipping and costs for prints and cards.
