I have also taught afterschool computer graphics classes at Markham, and Captiol Hill Elementary Schools as well as Jackson Middle School. I work with the Sun School (Schools Uniting Neighborhoods) program. The SUN Community Schools Initiative is a community-driven model that allows each school community to design the programs that fit neighborhood needs in Portland, Oregon. In the classes, I teach students Computer graphics programs available on their equipment. The programs include: Microsoft Suite Office programs such as Word, Powerpoint, Publisher, and Photo Editor. I also have experience teaching Broderbund's Kid Pix and open source programs such as Inkscape and Gimp. Students have an opportunity to show their project at the end of the class at a gallery "party".
